CMC Food, Inc is a 2nd generation family owned
business. The business started in 1984 with Charlie Culley who at the
time had 32 years in the food business and decided to start his own
company. At the age of 15 he started in a supermarket pushing shopping
carts and stocking shelves. Moving up over time he worked as department
managers and eventually become a store manager. His retail supermarket
career ended as Vice President Director of Dairy & Deli of a large
retail supermarket in Long Island New York. In 1971 he moved back to New
Jersey to become President of a small egg company that grew into the
largest egg company in New York Metro Market. In 1984 he left the large
egg company to start he own company, CMC Food, Inc.
CMC Food,
Inc. started with Charlie and his daughter Barbara Culley.
Barbara is a
college graduate from of Seton Hall University in 1984 with a Business Managemnt degree. Barbara currently is office manager. Michael also
started at age 16 in supermarkets working in different department. At
the age of 18 Michael went off to Curry College when he earned a double
major in Business Management and Communications. Upon graduation in 1993
from Curry College Michael went to work for the family business,
currently is president of CMC Food, Inc.. Part time employee Debbie
Mastrocola is also Charlie's daughter. Debbie has worked in office for
many years and working in Order department.
